The VELOX LV Series detectors continuously test the air in the protected area to give the earliest fire warning and provide a high level of false alarm rejection. The VELOX digital communications protocol, operated by the monitoring control panel, provides high-level information exchange with comprehensive features providing fast and secure responses. A total of 9 different levels are available in smoke, heat and combined detectors. There are 4 different level options such as day / night and smoke sensitivity in smoke detectors. Temperature detectors have options to set temperature values. The combination of optics and temperature sensing in a single detector assembly saves cost and allows for both slow internal combustion and high-energy flames to be recognized. Combined detectors can be deactivated for heat or smoke detection if desired.
VELOX addressable detectors use optical and thermal sensing technologies to detect fire. The V100 Smoke, V200 Combined and V350 Heat detector series are offered with built-in short circuit isolators and dual color (red / green) LEDs for 360 degree viewing. Up to 240 devices can be connected in a single loop. Loop length can be up to 2 km depending on cable selection. The devices are powered by the same fire detection loop. Fire alarm control panel, sirens, slaves, buttons, etc. to each other. For this reason no external power source is required.
